Fitarix Windows setup guide
Start with an empty workspace and set up the rules your reception team will use.
Updated 28 October 2026Windows requirements
Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041) or newer, or Windows 11, on an x64 PC. Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is required. The application bundles its .NET and Windows App SDK components. Install the complete package; moving the executable alone is not sufficient.
Create the owner workspace
On first launch, enter the gym name, owner name and a 4–6 digit PIN. Choose English or Indonesian with the language control. No default owner PIN is created in production. Add separate accounts for reception, trainers and a dedicated kiosk.
Configure plans and access
Create membership plans with duration, price, optional registration fee, visit allowance, access hours, class access and freeze allowance per calendar year. Prices are whole rupiah; zero-price plans must be marked as free trials. Operating times use WIB.
Register and take payment
Add the member’s name and phone number, then open a cash shift. Select the member and plan in Payments, review the calculated total and registration fee, choose the method and record the received amount. Manually confirm external transfer or QRIS verification. Print the invoice or save it as PDF.
Check in and check out
Print the member’s signed QR card from member details. Focus the scan field, scan with a keyboard-mode USB scanner or type the phone/member ID. Valid entry reduces a limited visit allowance once. Check members out when they leave; forgotten visits close at the configured closing time while the app is running.
Classes and personal training
Add trainers, then schedule classes with room, capacity and optional weekly repeats. Eligible members can be booked; full classes use a waitlist. Paid bookings require verified payment. PT packages track remaining sessions, expiry, bookings and completed sessions. The owner can configure cancellation notice periods.
Close the cash shift
Count physical cash, compare it with expected cash and enter a reason for any difference. Closing locks the shift’s transactions and creates a backup. A closed shift cannot be closed again. Owner voids retain the invoice and audit record and require eligible unused benefits in an open shift.
Back up and move computers
Use Settings to create a .fitarix-backup file. Copy it to another drive or your chosen synchronized folder. On the destination PC, set up owner access, choose Restore and inspect the counts before confirming. Restore signs you out. Test restoration periodically.
Keep access safe
Owner sessions lock after 30 minutes idle; reception sessions after 10 minutes. Five incorrect PIN attempts lock an account for five minutes. An owner can reset a staff PIN. Keep health information optional and record consent before storing notes or measurements.
