Fitarix

Fitarix privacy notice

Fitarix stores gym records on the Windows computer where you use it. WD DIGI does not receive your member database as part of normal app use.

Who handles the data

WD DIGI develops Fitarix. The gym operating the app decides which member information it collects, who may access it and how long it keeps it. Members should contact their gym for access, correction or removal requests. Contact WD DIGI through wddigi.com support for questions about the software.

What the gym may store

The app can store member names, phone numbers, email, birth date, address, emergency contact, optional photo, membership and attendance history, payment records, class bookings and training records. Health notes and body measurements require the member’s consent. Do not collect information your gym does not need.

Local storage and access

The database and embedded member photos are stored in the Windows user’s local application data folder, separately from the app installation. Staff PINs are salted and hashed. PIN access limits app features; it does not encrypt the database. Windows account access and your device’s disk protection also matter. Owner, reception, trainer and kiosk roles have different access.

Health consent and member removal

An owner can withdraw stored health consent, which removes health notes and recorded measurements from the current database. Anonymizing a member removes identifying member fields and health progress while retaining financial history under an anonymous member ID. Earlier backup copies may still contain old information; the gym is responsible for their retention and disposal.

Backups and exports

Local backups include the gym database and photos. Fitarix creates periodic local backups while the app is running and after closing a cash shift. An owner can copy a backup to a folder of their choice. Cloud upload, if any, is performed by the service managing that folder. CSV, Excel and printed/PDF exports are created only when a user requests them. Backup and export files are not encrypted by Fitarix.

Network activity and external services

Fitarix has no advertising SDK, member-data upload or product analytics service. The local interface and fonts are bundled with the app. Windows, Microsoft Store and WebView2 may have their own update and diagnostic behavior under Microsoft’s policies. Support links open wddigi.com. WhatsApp reminders open a prepared message at wa.me for staff to review and send. Those websites process information under their own notices.

Support information

The WD DIGI support form asks for a product, reply email and a description. Information is sent only when you submit the form. Do not include member health records, full payment card information, staff PINs or an unredacted gym backup. The support form provides its own privacy information.

Changes and contact

This notice describes version 1.0 behavior. We will update it when app data practices change. Use the Feedback and support button in the app or the support page on this site to contact WD DIGI.
